Back to the Apple Store again to drop off the computer, get my watch reprogrammed to save battery and get advice on how to AirDrop photos for my blog. Those Apple store employees as weird as they all are, are certainly genius magicians and extremely patient with technotards like me. I am so grateful

The next job was to scope out a replacement car for the Highlander as it seemed to be the predominant wisdom that getting a better towing vehicle was more logical than sinking money into the whole air bag lift operation. A Toyota four Runner seem to be the best suggestion. I got to the nearest Carmax and got a quote of $ 31,600 for my Highlander, hardly half what I paid for it, and the guy knew less about towing than I did which is pretty hard to imagine so I decided to move on. The next closest used 4 runner was in Kenosha about 45 minutes away but OK why not?. Yes, they had a beautiful blue 2020 4 runner with 69k miles . I took it for a test drive and got lost for a bit without a GPS but I finally made it back. I decided, yes this must be meant for me. Guess what they came up with $31,600 for the Highlander. Apparently there is some universal algorithm used for pricing a used car with all its dents and scratches and busted tail light. But weighing all the pending costs of what I was doing to the Highlander, airbag installation cost, and fixing all the dents and dings, It seems prudent to go ahead. However, there was this little detail of a title, which, of course I didn't have with me. “Well just overnight it to us in the morning”. And yes, I could stay in the Carmax parking lot for the night which probably was the safest place on earth since security people crawled all over the place all night.
