Jack knife to the right then to the left and "whalla" your out of the woods without a dent and onto the impeccably kept roads in the heart of the CHEQUAMEGAON NICOLET National forest of Wisconsin. Just an hour from Conover but many intersting historical markers and fun sightings along the way. Once in Conover and two blinks later out of Conover I had no idea where my Dad's old fishing cabin was. After getting kicked out of two bar/grills with a No dog policy we decided to try The Boathouse Grill. The owner/chef met us in the parking lot asking " Do you have a problem? I have seen you go back and forth a few times this morning." I explained that I was looking for a an old fishing cabin that my Dad and I and more recently my kids had enjoyed each summer for many years. He directed me to the Buckatobon Resort and Camp ground but only after having a marvelous Perch burger with a local beer in his very clever designed patio restaurant made out of several old boats.

I had been to the Buckatobon resort last year but it has now mushroomed itno an even bigger, incredible paradise for families to let kids be kids. A jumping bubble far, better than a trampoline ,a man made lake with blow up amazing slides, swings, an arcade , pickle ball and basket ball courts, playgrounds, fishing. You can renta teepee, cabin or a campsite. At

$75 -$125 per night to park your camper I decided to explore more tomorrow and perhaps find a boondocker nearby.

Dinner was of course grassfed burgers . ( they havent killed us yet and they are delicious.

Everyone just took off for a dance party I have to check out before calling it another GOOD day for which I am most grateful.
