There seems to be something very special about prayer time here in this little cottage steeped with history, surrounded by artifacts/treasures in every niche and corner. Every door post and windowsill is bedecked with someone's labor of love for this place. Many memories were made here, friendships were born here and generations of family bonding occurred here. Truly in many ways this is a sacred place inevitably leading one to prayer and Thanksgiving.
The 9 o'clock patient was short and sweet, a 22 year old seeking vaccine exemption for the flu vaccine required for clinicals at a hospital. Yes,with her history the magic words "injurious to her health " certainly apply.
Then on to finishing the patio project. Who would have thought that tiles on an outdoor patio table would not be permanently attached to the structure? Well they weren't, so as I tipped the table on its side to attack the cobwebs underneath I heard the most horrifying sound of breaking glass as every tile came flying out. "AwSheet" managed to protect all but 2 and Dwayne of course had some magic glue for the repairs.
I then turned my attention to the Casita and rapidly learned that admonition to always make sure that your camper is level was not just an old wives tale. Although the refrigerator indicator lights had reassured me that it was functioning , it WAS NOT and everything that was supposed to be frozen WAS NOT !! Sheba and I are going to feast on 100% grass fed beef patties for breakfast lunch and dinner for a few days and hopefully not get as the saying goes, "Get Margited " ie, self poisoned by consuming mishandled food cause I'm too Casita to level ground. I' ve graduated from F to D+ in my backing up so I succeeded in backing up the steep drive way and turning her left without taking out any posts, but then trying to maneuver close enough to the fence to leave room for cars to pass me was a mulitrial and error event. So now she is level but inconvenient and too far away to plug in .
A light rain started so going out to sit on Dwyne's pier and have a group of Loons come by to say Hi in the sunset was the perfect way to end another special day. Ops now its thundering and lightning and Sheba is not a happy camper .

You’ve certainly had some amazing adventures, Margit. I truly admire your positive, can-do attitude, and your heart for the Lord. Precious memories you are making! 💝
