Finally, the cargo rack has found a purpose
Finally, the cargo rack has found a purpose

The Apple Store didn't open until 10 so I had plenty time to find a FedEx where I could print out a copy of the replacement title form and get a photocopy of my ID and all the other paraphernalia and a check for all of two dollars. If you get one of those (we’ll do it all for you.) It cost $189 plus you have to supply them with all the same information you'd put in yourself anyway. It can take from two weeks to 120 days and there is no such thing as expediting.

I got everything straightened out with Apple and got all of $70 for my nine year-old computer with only a hole for the E and the F keys.

I was hoping to be able to meet with Andrew Fritz the one living sibling that was not at the reunion. I left a message and then started out for Wisconsin Dells. When researching campsites, I found the Mississippi wildlife refuge, which was not far from Lancaster where Andrew lives, so it made sense to try to camp there on the chance that I might connect with him tomorrow. As I went through Dickeyville I passed the Holy Ghost church with a most amazing grotto and shrine built back in the 1930s by a German priest over a 10 year period. Apparently he was not only interested in promoting the attributes of the Holy Spirit, but also of the principles of American liberty as there is a whole section dedicated to American heroes.

I never could find any campsites, just a narrow gravel road along the Mississippi .So I ended up at the end of a dead end road overlooking the Mississippi and abutting the Mississippi Valley Conservancy land .The sign  says they have made this land available to you for outdoor recreation free of chargeLeft the rest up to you.

We broke out the grill and grilled up a big pot of bratwurst, fish and hamburgers. So we have leftovers for a few more cold meals if necessary.
