I planned to leave in time to get to 8:00 mass in Fennimore but goodbys were difficult so I didnt get going to after 8:00 Boscobel however had a 8:30 which I made only to find it really started at 8:00.   Yes, it had rained all night and was still coming down but no signs of flooding. I did get my chance  to see horse drawn Amish buggies on their way to the house churches. Some had closed in carriages but others were open with people holding umbrellas. If these people will go through all this discomfort to get to church certainly I in my air-conditioned, motorized vehicle should be able to get there on time.

Next stop  was back to the Cracker Barrel at the Wisconsin Dell. However a sign intrigued me ,

Shrine  of “ Our Lady of  the Fields” Hillpoint ,Wi.  Just 3 miles off my  route, if you don’t miss the sign and go 10 miles the wrong direction. It was a tiny little church started by Irish Immigrants and lovingly now refurbished in remembrance of their contributions to our nation.

I did finally make it to at the Dells and will bed down for the night a very blessed mother , grandmother ,sister, aunt  but most of all a daughter of a most merciful, generous and loving God.
