The Sabbath takes on a whole new meaning when you find yourself sitting on a hill looking over the lazy Mississippi watching barges being pushed miraculously around curves and sandbars. I'm still pinching myself periodically to make sure that this isn't just a dream and I will wake up in Texas. Sheba and I tried to take a hike into the forest, but it was so thick and overgrown on a steep cliff that Sheba said this is nuts and headed back to the car with her mussel stuck shut with nasty burrs. I finally gave up waiting to hear from Andy and so took off to explore the Wisconsin Dells which I hadn't visited since I was a kid. Wow what a tourist trap. There is something for everyone and thankfully there was a Cracker Barrel waiting for us just when it was time to call it a day.
